The spirit in my picture shows that everybody can be in the Oylimpics. That everybody from all races, from black to white, girl to boy and even handy cap people can try. And that even if you don't win you still glow because you tried and got that far and that's all the spirit in this picture.

"Team USA: Our Pride and Inspiration"
The Olympic spirit allows us to overcome our differences and bond together as athletes. It is the fire within us that challenges us to excel and pursue our dreams. It is the joy of competition between people sharing a commitment to personal excellence, fairness, teamwork, and pride in their country.

My drawing is five hands in the olimpic colors. These five hands represent the five main nationalities in the world. The Olympic spirit means to me that all ethnic groups come together to compete for the gold. That is what the Olympic spirit means to mean!

I think that all the athletes represent the Olympic spirit by having the torch in their heart because it's like there is an Olympic flame in them that will give them the spirit.

My message to the Olympic athletes is to follow your dreams, work hard and anything is possible. I drew a picture of three people on the stands for places and the person in third place said "Oh man." Then the person in first place "Keep working at it and you will get the gold." I drew that picture for the word follow your dreams. No matter if you succeed to fail you're still a winner for trying. And remember we will be there cheering you all on!

"Obstacles are stepping stones to greatness"
My message to the Olympic athletes is obstacles are stepping stones to greatness. My message is trying to say that if you can overcome obstacles you will get to greatness. Take Wilma Rudolf for example. She had a paralyzed left leg. She overcame that obstacle and she won gold in the 100, 200 and 400 meter events. For doing that she was passed through time. I think after hearing that story you could probably do it too and you can! I hope this story really motivates you.

"Olympic Spirit"
Olympic spirit is wether you win or lose; you took pride in what you did and represented your countrey. If you win, you know that everyone is proud of you, including the ones who were competing against you. If you lost you know that everyone is still very proud of you and you did your best. Winning or loseing doesn't mean that you are better than everyone or that you are worst that everyone. It just means that everyone is proud that you did your best and that you are still and Olympic hero.
