The combination of these contracts allows DHL Express to provide international door-to-door express services for shipments within all US DOD theaters of operation with expedited customs processing better than any other carrier.

During Desert Storm DHL was the only express company to continue operating and flying throughout the region.
During operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom – DHL Express supported the US Department of Defense (DOD) in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We delivered spare parts, mail, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
DHL Express Middle East hub is located in Bahrain and is the only carrier servicing both Iraq and Afghanistan.
DHL currently transports military mail on a daily basis to US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Export Services with extensive transit options with major hubs in every region of the world – from Cincinnati to Bahrain, we keep your shipments moving at full speed.
Import Services (Retrograde) to the US are comprised of American Goods Returned, Repair and Returns, and shipments subject to Duty Free Certificates with Defense Contract Management Command (DCMA) for non-US origin DOD imports.
Third Country Services (Lateral) including specialized services for military exercises shipping coordination, charters and project cargo.
