What happens if my package does not arrive on time?
DHL provides all of our customers with the opportunity to report late package delivery within 15 calendar days from the date of shipment. Customers can call 1-800-225-5345 to report a service failure. For more information please click here to view our service guarantee in its entirety.
What happens if DHL accepts an Excess Size shipment?
If an Excess Size shipment is mistakenly accepted for transportation and then found to be Excess Size at the local service center, the package will be returned to the shipper the following business day. In the event that an Excess Size package enters our network, the shipment will be transported through the network until final destination. The customer will be charged with applicable Excess Size fees. Information on Excess Size can be obtained by calling Customer Service at 1800 CALL DHL.
Does DHL deliver to APO box addresses?
Although DHL cannot deliver to an APO box address you may use the "Hold for pickup" option (Additional fee may apply). The receiver will then be able to pickup the shipment at the local DHL terminal. Note that the receiver address is still required for customs on international shipments.
