A “doc“ shipment is a non-dutiable document shipment. A “non-doc“ shipment is a dutiable commodity – duties and taxes have to be paid. Classification of “doc” and “non-doc” may vary by country and commodity – please call Customer Service at 1-800-CALL DHL.
Shipping Directly Between Two Countries (outside of the U.S.)
You can also use your Import Express Account for third-country movements (document and non-document shipments moving between two countries outside of the U.S., but billed in the U.S.).
